Our founders Joshua Klein and Carolyn McGonagle have seen first hand what rust can do to your vehicle. Josh has 20+ years in the automotive industry and after fixing countless frames, bed-rails, and cross-members he decided that it was time to fight the rot before it could begin. After extensive research, Platinum Rust Protection (PRP) was the best product out there, so our founders decided that it was a much needed product and they wanted to provide it to anyone that cared about their vehicle and it's longevity.
What IS OIL UNDERCOATING?
PRP is a highly refined base oil based rust inhibitor. It displaces water and cuts off oxygen therefore stopping the creation of rust. It creates a protective barrier between your vehicle and corrosive elements such as road salt.
Because PRP is an oil rather than a paint or sealant, it stays active on a chemical level and it seeps several inches into hard to reach areas, seams, and into the rust itself. This non regulated product is not subject to controls or regulations because it doesn't present health hazards, as well as it's low flammability rating. PRP's natural corrosion inhibitors are great at providing the extra protection to keep away rust. It contains no solvents or detergents. PRP also has a mixture of waxes and jellies to promote long life in high wear areas and is truly a drip free product.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE for Platnium service

Annual touch-up of wax, and reapplication of clear oil in the cavities, seams, and moving parts of the vehicle.
