The No Rot Promise

THE NORTHEAST RUST PROOFING NO ROT PROMISE

Protect your vehicle. Preserve its value. Drive with confidence.

Rust prevention should come with confidence — not empty claims. Qualifying vehicles are eligible for our exclusive No Rot Promise: our commitment to keeping your vehicle structurally free from rust perforation through its first 12 years from the original date of manufacture.

What It Is

WHAT IS THE NO ROT PROMISE?

The No Rot Promise is a service commitment — a working system built around inspection, professional application, and scheduled maintenance. Here's what it isn't, and what it is:

Not an insurance policy.

You aren't buying a policy or filing claims. There are no premiums, deductibles, or adjusters.

Not a gimmick.

It isn't a marketing badge or a printed certificate designed to close a sale. It's a working system.

Not spray-and-forget.

No coating on earth lasts forever untouched. Any product that claims to is selling you a story.

It IS a maintenance commitment.

Backed by professional inspections, proven products, and a scheduled protection plan built around your vehicle.

Why We Can Make It

BUILT ON DECADES OF STRUCTURAL REPAIR EXPERIENCE

The No Rot Promise isn't marketing. It's built on the same experience that got Northeast Rust Proofing started — repairing vehicles that were retired long before their time because of rust that could have been prevented.

Meet Joshua Klein, the founder, and learn where this commitment comes from.

  • Years spent repairing rusted frames, crossmembers, and structural components
  • Thousands of vehicles inspected across every major manufacturer
  • Structural welding experience — we've seen exactly how frames fail
  • First-hand knowledge of where every manufacturer rusts first
  • In-house development of Platinum Rust Protection
  • A proven, scheduled maintenance program refined over years in the shop

How It Works

FIVE STEPS FROM INSPECTION TO PROMISE

  1. Step 1

    Vehicle Inspection

Every vehicle is inspected in person before it's accepted into the program.

  2. Step 2

    Vehicle Qualifies

If your vehicle meets our structural criteria, you're offered enrollment.

  3. Step 3

    Professional Application

Platinum Rust Protection is applied by hand using professional equipment.

  4. Step 4

    Regular Maintenance

You return on a scheduled interval so protection stays intact year after year.

  5. Step 5

    NERP Keeps Its Promise

Qualifying vehicles remain structurally free from rust perforation through 12 years from original manufacture.

Eligibility

WHICH VEHICLES QUALIFY?

ELIGIBLE

  • Brand-new vehicles
  • Vehicles up to 4 model years old
  • Vehicles that pass NERP inspection
  • No existing structural rust
  • Owner agrees to the scheduled maintenance plan

MAY NOT QUALIFY

  • Heavy corrosion already present
  • Previous structural repairs of unknown quality
  • Existing frame perforation
  • Poor previous repairs or third-party coatings

Coverage

WHAT'S COVERED — AND WHAT ISN'T

"Rot" means rust perforation — a hole through a covered structural component. Cosmetic surface rust, accident damage, and neglect are not covered.

WHAT'S COVERED

  • Structural frame
  • Crossmembers
  • Structural chassis components
  • Factory frame rails
  • Areas included in your treatment plan

WHAT ISN'T COVERED

  • Accident damage
  • Improper repairs performed by others
  • Mechanical failures
  • Neglect of the maintenance schedule
  • Damage from abuse or misuse
  • Normal cosmetic surface rust

WHY ANNUAL MAINTENANCE MATTERS

Annual maintenance is the reason the No Rot Promise works. A single application — no matter how premium the product — can't keep up with what a Northeast winter throws at your vehicle. Maintenance is what separates a protection system from a one-time spray.

It's also what separates us from companies selling "lifetime" coatings.

  • Road salt formulas change from year to year, and each affects steel differently.
  • Oil-based coatings migrate, self-heal, and gradually thin — they need to be replenished.
  • Vehicles flex constantly. Frames twist, seams open and close, and coatings work with them.
  • Stone chips and impacts break through the surface where protection begins.
  • Road debris and pressure washing gradually strip exposed coatings.

Honest Answers

WHY WE DON'T BELIEVE IN LIFETIME UNDERCOATING

No coating survives untouched for the life of a vehicle driven on Northeast roads. Anyone claiming otherwise is either using marketing language or hasn't cut open enough frames. Here's what you're actually up against:

Road Salt

Sodium chloride pulls moisture directly onto bare and lightly protected steel.

Magnesium Chloride

Sprayed brine sticks to underbodies and stays active long after roads look dry.

Calcium Chloride

Absorbs humidity from the air, keeping metal wet even in the garage.

Freeze / Thaw Cycles

Water trapped in seams expands, forces coatings open, and accelerates rust.

Stone Impacts

Chip through any coating — thick, thin, hard, or soft. No product is impact-proof.

Frame Flex

Twist and torsion create hairline breaks in rigid coatings over time.

Customers deserve honesty. A working maintenance program will outlast a "lifetime" claim every single time.

Where It Starts

RUST STARTS INSIDE

By the time rust is visible on the outside of a frame, it's usually been growing on the inside for years. That's why protecting the exterior alone isn't enough — and why any serious program has to reach the enclosed cavities where corrosion actually begins.

Platinum Rust Protection is engineered to migrate into these hidden areas.

Boxed frame rails
Rocker panels
Door bottoms
Tailgate seams
Crossmembers
Cab and body mounts
Pinch welds and spot welds
Enclosed body cavities

Inspection

WHY WE INSPECT EVERY VEHICLE

No two vehicles are the same. Two identical trucks off the same lot can look different underneath after a single winter. That's why every vehicle is inspected in person before it's accepted into the program.

Good Frame

Solid steel, factory coating largely intact. Ideal candidate for the program.

Beginning Rust

Surface oxidation, no scale or pitting. Usually treatable and eligible with proper prep.

Heavy Rust

Scale, pitting, or flaking. Requires remediation before we can protect it.

Frame Perforation

Holes through structural steel. Requires structural repair before any protection is offered.

The Product

THE PLATINUM RUST PROTECTION DIFFERENCE

Internal Cavity Treatment

We treat the inside of the frame, rockers, doors, and enclosed structures — where rust actually starts.

Self-Healing Oil

Platinum Rust Protection flows into scratches and impacts, sealing itself as the vehicle moves.

Migration Into Seams

The formula wicks into spot welds and pinch seams that hard coatings can't reach.

Professional Application

Every vehicle is applied by hand using calibrated equipment — not a spray-and-go service.

Proper Equipment

Purpose-built pumps, wands, and nozzles designed for internal cavity coverage.

Years of Experience

The system was built by the same technicians who repair the rusted vehicles others walk away from.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Real Stories

THE COST OF SKIPPING PREVENTION

Nothing sells prevention like showing the cost of neglect.

"$6,800 in structural repairs — and it could have been prevented."

A late-model truck came in with perforated frame rails and rotted crossmembers. The repair took days of welding and fabrication. Regular protection would have cost a fraction of that — and the owner would still have the original steel.
